Company
Our knowledge in Corporate Finance will help founders to maneuver their startups through various important processes, including fund raising, valuation and pricing, business planning as well as expansion and divestments.
Christoph Berndt, CFA
Founder and Managing Partner
- Christoph has more than 14 years of experience in finance and management, as CEO, CFO, CRO and financial advisor to international companies across industries.
- Particularly in the area of corporate finance, Christoph excels on deal advise and core transaction work such as M&A advisory, valuations, post-merger integration, purchase price allocations, business planning and modeling, as well as corporate restructuring and reorganization.
- For several years, Christoph is advising and mentoring startups across various stages of development and domains, mainly in the areas of business models, financial planning, funding and investment readiness. He also organizes investments for equity and debt through a wide network of investors.
- Christoph provides lectures and workshops on topics around investments and investment readiness; he is a mentor in the ‘Proof of Concept’ program of the Innovation Fund in Serbia as well as a mentor in the BioSense Accelerator for AgriFoodTech; he further serves as external evaluator for business and investment related topics in EU-funded projects.
- Christoph gained deep insights into the Serbian startup ecosystem and presented valuable findings and conclusion in his study ‘Startups in Serbia: a glance at the startup ecosystem in Serbia’, which was published in July 2019.
- Christoph has been engaged by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Serbia as Senior Advisor since November 2018.

Christoph has been engaged by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Serbia as senior external adviser for ICT sector and startups.
Lecturer and mentor
The BioSense accelerator is an equity-free program for AgriFoodTech entrepreneurs. As part of the program, Christoph is lecturing on investments in startups, investment readiness and investor relations. He also mentors teams throughout the program.
Mentor
Тhe Proof of Concept program is designed for researchers who require support to prove that there is a new product and for which there is a need in the market. Christoph mentors teams on topics of market assessment, product-market fit, planning and financing.
External Expert Evaluator
Christoph contributes as an external evaluator for business and investment related topics in EU-funded projects, such as agROBOfood (a project that has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 program).
